Apple has announced that its annual Worldwide Developer Conference (WWDC) will take place from June 10 to June 14. WWDC is known for unveiling Apple’s software news and is expected to focus on AI advancements this year. While last year’s event showcased the Vision Pro mixed reality headset, this year Apple is reportedly interested in integrating Google’s Gemini AI engine into its upcoming iPhones and iOS 18 features. The company is also said to have developed a family of multimodal models called MM1, which offer advanced reasoning and in-context learning for text and images.
