Nvidia shares dropped over 10 percent before recovering as concerns about the delay in shipping the company’s latest artificial intelligence chip diminished. Reports stated that the newest graphics processing unit (GPU), called Blackwell, would be shipped three months later than planned. However, Nvidia assured that production was on track, with high customer orders and interest. Analyst Stacy Rasgon stated that the delay was not a cause for panic as cloud computing companies like Microsoft and Amazon continue to invest in AI data centers, creating sustained demand for Nvidia chips.
