Key industries, including pharmaceuticals, food and beverage, textiles, mining, renewables, and power, heavily rely on water. To address this, companies such as Xylem, Veolia, and a Boston-based startup have been developing cost-effective water reclamation and recycling technologies. Their endeavors aim to reduce costs, energy usage, and chemical dependency in the water and wastewater treatment market, projected to reach $500 billion in value by the end of the decade. Notably, Gradiant, a water purification company, has gained traction with its innovative technology, saving 1.7 billion gallons of water daily. Its impressive clientele includes names like Coca-Cola, BMW, Pfizer, and Adnoc.
